We are currently recruiting a for Press Brake Operator at our Newport, MN location. The city of Newport is located in Washington County along the Mississippi River, southeast of the city of Saint Paul.

The Newport, MN operation creates customized looks and creations with stainless steel or any material for commercial kitchens. We have openings on 1^st shift.

As a Press Brake Operator your job responsibilities include:

• Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on Ermaksan press brake with Air Bending Technology.
• Prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations. This includes custom punch/die change out in combination with required tooling. Programming using all features of the press brake software.
• Read and understand shop drawings and translate flat pattern sheet metal parts into fully formed parts.
• Ensure production schedule follow through, as allocated by the Manufacturing Engineer.
• Perform operator level maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations.
• Facilitate work-order paper flow in accordance with Company Standards.
• Help with training of new hires on machine functions and Company Processes.
• Check parts to ensure they are within tolerance and Company Standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and work closely with Manufacturing Engineer and other shop lead personnel to reduce cost and waste
